Default RE: Earthquake 8E -> Backdraft Hubs- Weak Axles??

I've bent the front dog bones on my Earthquake 8E but haven't bent the axles yet.

Also where in Oregon is your store?

I live in Bend, but travel periodically and would love to talk with some others face to face about issues with the Earthquake 8E.

I think I've purchased almost every spare part they make for it (almost).

Most recently my issue is I upgraded my cast aluminum hubs to the anondized hubs, the biggest issue I'm having is one of the lower screws is stripped, and I've lost the little metal shim or buffer (not sure the proper term) that goes into the A-arm that the screw goes through.

A - suggestions on rescuing the hub? I thought about going to a machine shop and getting it retapped for a slightly larger size
B - where do I get that shim?
