Lipo charge concern / Use recommendations?
Would welcome any input from anyone who's had experience with this type issue:
Facts:
Bought 6 Blue Lipo 5000 20C packs last March.
All stored last 4 months in refrigerator until airplane completion.
Batteries wired up for 10cell operation in 2 meter pattern application.
First charge attempts:
Charged 2 of the 10s packs with no problems. (Cellpro 10S on Iota 55). Last pack had .1v consistent lower voltage on cell #7 and required 4 disconnects & restarts to complete charge…charger would show consistently lower fuel state and I would reboot. (26% 58%, 76%, 89% to completion). Voltage unknown at start of 1st attempt but showed 26% fuel at start…. At end of attempts I’m seeing the following on pack 3:
Fuel 100%
42.025 pack voltage
4.202v on all cells so I’m assuming it balanced.
No reading on any of IR’s on any of the cells. (Maybe because last reboot only put in 179ma???)
What would be your recommendations considering that I’ve got a $43 battery pack investment which is causing the concern.
