newer RC EXL ignitions are OK with more than 6 v...No debate there....And ny old Husqvarna 390 motocrosser ran fine for years on 1 quart Klotz to 5 gallons of 87 octane, never fouled a plug or stuck a piston...At sometimes 60+ mph in a long sandwash...
