Default RE: Heaviest WWII Warbird flown with a G62?

Dan Thordesen (spelling) flew his Miester Cosair with a G62. Sorry I forget what the weight was. It flew real well and he did many warbird maneuvers with it, I recall him talking about how he had modified a prop that helped. I flew with him at our local AMA air show team many many years ago and the Corsair had many flights, shame the plane suffered a midair during a scale contest at the Sepulveda Basin. Today they are putting 3x the power and displacement on this plane.

I have 4 warbirds with G62s in them, love the motor. Don't bother putting an electronic ignition on them as they are worry free.
