Default Vertical crutch design

Anyone ever design and build a vertical crutch plane?

Now I'm not talking about clam shell design where you make two halves and glue them together. That is different.

I was thinking today about a vertical crutch structure that incorporates the vertical stabilizer. The fuselage formers would then be placed on the sides of the crutch and sheeted.

I think I'll try this with a 40 size plane and see how it works out.

I can envision that the engine mount, wing saddle, landing gear mounts, fuel tank compartment, and servo installation will be a challenge.
