Anybody still working on their warhawk still? I thought I would give this a kick to see if it's still alive. I found this site with some great pictures and info about the P-40
http://www.p40warhawk.com/index.htm How are the electric retracts working out? I am using the 615's for mine and I modified them to help with the twisting and sloppy fit. I drilled out and inserted helicoils into the trunions to allow for the screws to be tightened up good to take out the side play. I also drilled out all the set screw holes and retapped for 6-32 button head socket screws. for the wire stubs and robo-struts. I filed flat spots where ever there was a set screw, so hopefully this will help. You would think that Robart would make some improvements to these gear after all these years. They seem to have a take it or leave it attitude
I am using the DLE 20 engine in mine as I have 2 already and they are great engines and cheap to operate.
