RE: Lost Spitfires located!
Wow, what a find. Does anyone know if the Spitfires with the 2,035HP Griffon engines were as fast as the Mustangs?
I have also read more than once that a whole squadron of P38s was abandoned in the ice in Greenland or Iceland and are pretty much perfectly preserved because of the cold. Has anyone else heard that?
