RE: AR-6 Wing mold construction
I managed to get the plug sealed to the parting board.. Essentially, just waxed and PVA'd (mold release) the edges of the plug, put down some Bondo on the edges of the parting board and set the wing in place.. Let it dry overnight and popped it out this morning. The object of this is to minimize all the clay work that would normally be need for this process.. Next step is to sand down the bondo and parting board, prime and paint..
