Aluminum Overcast

Thanks Guys! I have been moving along on my additions. My scratch built exhaust and cowl flaps are pretty much complete now as is the wing and fuse (ready for paint & weathering) but before that happens I want to add a bomb drop so I'm reworking the belly area to make room for that. I could add a small servo to control them but my cowl flaps will just work off a simple spring/arm affair, keeping the flaps open at taxi, idle and at low speed but the air blast at higher speed will close them down. Kind of the same way the full scale flaps were used.


Nice work Paint Boy! I appreciate your effort in hiding all the model stuff and the paint work too....not to mention the re engineering for the conversions and changes you made.
