RE: ESM FW D-9
BTW...on the fw-190 d9, I just pried the gun hood off. Didnt really take that long on mine, but a few spots were really glueed on(or had excess dried paint) holding those sections down. I got the hood off in one piece, however, I did get a few small cracks around the perimeter. Nothing more then a couple mm's, so I only really need to add some glass cloth with minwax to the back of the entire piece and it'll be good to go.
All in all...took me about 10mins to get the gun hood off
