Maybe it was the engine that I had but the difference between 11x6 and a 12x6 prop was immense! The throttling was not as good on the bigger prop and on the take off roll and in vertical maneuvers with the bigger prop it just didn't feel as powerful. I even tried the motor with a 12x4 (all APC) and it was a dog! Just for a laugh, after I was told about the motor liking smaller props I put a 10x6 on and it love it! Don't recall the rpm but throttling was supurb and tick over great. Just what I found with mine thats all.
