ORIGINAL: JollyPopper I have two Futaba receivers with channel 36 crystals in them. One is marked "Lo BAND" on the side and the other has a red dot in the crystal slot indicating it is hi band. Did Futaba put channel 36 crystals in both hi and lo band receivers or has somebody been switching crystals in the receivers before I got them. These are not new receivers as they have been pre-owned, but I knew the gentleman who owned them and if they are used, they were used very gently. Unfortunately, I can't ask the previous owner because he was killed in an automobile accident on his way home from the flying field a couple years ago.
35Mhz &36Mhz are treated as separate frequencies (same as 40MHz &41 Mhz).
. Both Tx &Rx are centre tuned within those two separate frequencies.
Hi/Lo Band refers to 72 MZ only, refer:
