Buder Park flying field in west St Louis county is right on I-40
You mention I-40 which should be corrected to
I-44. Also Buder park is open to the general public but you must have a permit from the city to fly there. And i'll give a +1 for Muncie AMA HQ... Great facility and a very nice RC museum.
