The strict answer would likely be No.
However, the real question is would your choice meet your needs, whatever they are. I'd favor the Futaba, for more than a few reasons.
Just one has to do with DSM2 and it's "obsolescence". The programming features of the 8FG are another reason. Don't rule out other 2.4G transmitters, such as the DX8 without looking at them in detail.
