Default RE: PARKZONE'S NEW ALBATROS D. Va

Thanks to your suggestions my now flight ready Albatros sports a neat looking set of "Willy" Messerschmitt's "Ello" instruments that I took from my favorite spare copy of "Flight Journal" magazine. It features a small copy of the Hurricane fighter cover picture on the
previous issue of the magazine along with my impertinent question and a very nice answer about the Hurricane that no modeler could answer.

I added more left wing tip weight, this time to the top wing just in case it is useful to not upset the vertical CG by putting tip weight all in the bottom wing tip.

Okay, now for the gory details - I should have set my timer for a minute less than normal while testing a lower capacity battery. The ship ran out of juice while way up wind. It evidently ran into a bad down draft as the steep angle of decent could not be overcome with elevator control. It hit the ground hard enough to break the carbon fiber reinforced struts near the fuselage connection on the left side, and the poorly tempered Chinese steel axle broke on the right side.

The wheels were damaged but were repaired and equipped with brass bushings. A new spring steel music wire axle with flexible tubing used for some "suspension" near the ends of the axle where soft steel wire attaches the new axle to the old one should work nicely.

I carefully checked the wings angle of attack and observed that in most cases there is a noticeable lower angle of attack of the top wings of my WWI aircraft. My question this time is about the Fokker Triplane. Is the top wing supposed to have more or less top wing angle of attack than the biplanes. I ask this because of all the trouble I have had with my little "GREAT PLANES" beast.

Looking forward to some more of your pictures.

Salute!

It's like the action smileys and "red X" problem I have reported on other threads.) THE MALWARE PROBLEM ON FB IS NOW GONE. Due to the unanticipated important information about the revolutionary thorium plasma battery technology on top it is now necessary to scroll down to the "buried treasure Spitfire" posts.

"mad thorium batteries" typed in Yahoo and/or Google brings up great information about thorium plasma batteries.

The next URL brings up the most concise, non-technical with technical references, information about the Thorium technology that will power our airplanes and a whole lot more sooner than you think!
