TF P-51 flys better then The P-40. The P-40's CG needs to be kept well forward ( balence gear up), keep your speed up, don't do anything stupid, and wheel landings are required. Fast and smooth, no bank and yank.
Thanks P-40 Driver, this sounds a lot like my former Byron, just smaller. I told a friend that has it now sort of the same. Also advised him if the plane is over shooting the runway on the base to final turn do not pull the elevator in to line her up, just let her over shoot and go around.
