Go to dreamworksrc.com and buy some hysol. The stuff will bond and be stronger than anything in the plane. You can use it on the engine mount tube and I would use it anywhere you see a gap in the bulks heads, formers or anyplace you can reinforce. The stuff gives you long workng time and holds a bead, but once its hard, grinders have a hard time removing it. It's the stuff we use on building jets. If you are staying with the rudder / elevator cable system, I suggest you invest in a thicker cables. just my 2 cents and looking forward to your progress.
