RE: Shoestring Stunter Old kit new build
Hi BtnFlyGuy, I know I really should have posted these pics in the Brodak P-40
thread, but I just figured out how to post pics on this forum. I too, built and flew
a CG Shoestring back in the early 1960s. I first powered it with a Super Tigre G20
.15 diesel because a USAF flying friend said to try the G20; he won a few club
stunt events with his. Diesel fuel got scarce for me; so I replaced the ST G20
with a Fox Stunt .35. Interestingly enough, the G20 .15 weighed almost the same as the
Fox .35. It flew better with the Fox .35, especially in more turbulent air.
