RE: airplane gyro updated
Does anybody have any insight, advice or information on the "Hobby Eagle" A3? It's a 3 axixs gyro, no assignable on/off switch or remote gain, costs about $30. I'm trying to set up one, but I can't get the gain or the servo reversal function to work. I.E., the elevator moves the wrong way, down instead of up, when u pitch the nose up. I have tried the gyro mounted upside down & right side up in a low wing, still doesn't change direction.
Remove jumper from 1st position, turn on unit, light blinks, then rapidly, this is the "stick centering mode". Next it blimks once, 5 times for A, then 2 times for E, then 3 times for R, after each series of blinks moving the rudder stick is supposed to reverse that channel.
I can't get it to do it!
Guess you get what you pay for!
