Next it is time to handle the barrel. I have club contracted a favor to remove the step from the barrel. To remove it, I undid the turret innards and removed the plastic retainer.
Barrel out and now it is time to improve the turret by sanding seams and backdating the spare track to the pilot version. I used some Tamiya putty to fill the indentations for the later track holders.
