Make sue you put pins in the front hatch. I did that to mine today and the fit is better. I love what you are your friend are doing with this bird!! Now for the retract. I have search all the RC forum to see if any had come out with a set of retract for this bird, but have not anything yet. The plane will look very good with the gears up!! All the dowels on my ARF was not glue in, so you are right!! Make I ask, what servos are you using.
