don't take this the wrong way, but this is the wrong forum for that question. go to the gas engine forums for that kind of info. This forum is for the Waco. But since we're here....I know you are trying to save weight and money, but let me tell you...I had a brand new electronic ignition jr battery in a p47 gas plane with a brand new receiver battery and when the electronic ignition battery went bad in flight I still had control of the plane. Just something to think about and yes I know if the receiver battery had gone out it would have died but think of how much draw is coming off that battery for elect ig and receiver at the same time, that is alot of power being sucked out of that battery, I hope it doesn't get hot or something.
