RE: 2nd airplane choice after trainer?
Yes, some verssion of a Stick or some version of a four star is a great second plane. A four star set up right will slow down to walking speed on landing and I assume the sticks will too. I noticed that the new four stars have a cowl around the engine and look a bit sleeker that the originals. I certainly hope those changes in no way detracts from the performance of the older ones. I have three of the older ones, two forties and a sixty and am currently looking for a good used Saito 56 to put in one. I have convinced myself that would be a great combination.
