RE: 2nd airplane choice after trainer?
If a Stik isn't cool enough or you want something more resembling a scale plane I recommend the Seagull .46 size PC9. It builds easy, fly's great, it's inexpensive, and can use all the gear from your trainer to get it flying within 2 evenings of building. And it's basically bulletproof. I still keep one as my go to plane even though my other planes are big warbirds. It always makes me like a pro when I fly it because it's so smooth. And it is fully aerobatic/pattern worthy on high rates.
