Don't use CA it's too brittle. I just use epoxy. That's what all the holes along the bottom of the mount are for.
Just be sure to scuff the area of the hull to be glued with some 240 grit sand paper.
I used to add a strip of Fibre glass along the mount but I don't bother any more. I just Epoxy a length of carbon rod along them & extend them to the transom & forward to mount the battery tray in some cases.
I'm a great fan of using carbon fibre rod to strengthen motor mounts & hull. So much easier than laying glass in the boat. Takes away all the flex in the hull & the mount is rock solid.
Works on mono's, cats, hydros & riggers.
