Default RE: J-3 cub Identifly.

After 2 trips to the house for servo reversing DUHHHHHHH [:@] . New TX Futaba 6 fasst. Very new to me
I got her squared away pretty good, of coarse the wind picked up and I was nervous as heck, with the shiny mono coat and all.

I had to move the 2200 batt all the forward as I could to get a decent CG off the wing spar as you mentioned.

I have flown foamies and to cut the power and make a mistake it was no big deal. With this, the thought of pieces were in my head the whole time.

The heck with it ! Its only money and I can make more!

Advanced throttle,a little up on elevator and she was up.
ALOT faster than I thought she would. 25 feet.
Took me by surprise, leveled out kinda, I was running out of room and went for ailerons and there were none, ooops.]
Right rudder, nose dipping, kids came outta no where, she flew like a brick.
Mind you I was only at 1/4 throttle.
Brought her back in touched down and she flipped in the tall grass.

WOOOOOHOOOOO She FLYS !!!!.
Broke off the home made motor mount .No big deal. Time to retool.
Better motor mount, larger flying field, and open her up a little bit more. I think it was more of a staling issue.I was afraid to hit the juice. I have epoxy .
Thanks again for all the help. It really boosted my confidence!
