I was one of the 1st adopters of the Assan and agree that it worked wonderfully for my skill set! Simon turned his nose up but he's a evil British Imperialist! I didn't like my GA 250 either...replaced it with a HK401...works great.

As for the idler pulley I removed them on all my models (big 'un doesn't have one) and kept the little parts to use as spacers! Never a problem did I have and one less thing to fail! The engineers made a superflous addition! Ditto that! Idle pullies are for idle _____________!

(Hmmmm "The Engineers"?? Check out Promethious if you haven't) Maybe tonight, keep forgetting about it.
