Hi Denny,
First, with so many outrunners avaliable with different power ratings, why use a gear-box? E-flite, Rimfire, Scorpion, Axi and many others make several motors that will haul a 60e sized plane around just fine. Many ARFs have the thrust angle built into the firewall to aid in motor installation. Most planes need some down & right angle added to the thrust line. These H-9 60s both run on e-flite power 60s and fly very well. Good luck
