I would like to join the Cub Brotherhood as well as get some input on this 1/4 Sig that someone framed up and has just given to me. I wanted input on what to do with the fuse sides before I do my own thing. The plan is to convert this to and L-4. Trying to upload pic. [img][/img]
Having a Sig 1/4 J3 Cub myself, I can see that a lot of lightening holes were made to the fuse in your pics. Was this done to use electric power? The Sig J3 is not necessarilly overbuilt, and I would question all the material removed. Converting to an L4 will further remove structural material designed in by Sig. Just a thought. Good luck.
