I'd like to use two 3s lipos for 6s (22 volts) so 90 amps may be required, and that is too high for me to be satisfied with. May have to step up to 8s batteries are needed? I'd hate to spend the money and noot be able to fly it the way I want to.

I bought a 650KV Cobra 3525/12 outrunner and 60Amp Cobra speed control with switch mode BEC for my 59" w/s Maxford Gee Bee E model on recommendation of Lucien Miller, Innov8tive Designs. It will swing a 15x8 APC prop on 4S 4500mah lipos.( Lipos are $49 from Hobby People) This motor and speed control combo is relatively inexpensive and should pull your Cub with authority, check with Lucien to make sure before ordering)
