BE VERY CAREFUL though... I lost a plane ( and engine, rx, servos, battery) because I connected a regulator between the battery and switch instead of connecting it between the switch and receiver. That particular regulator I was using would drain about 10-15 mah when connected to a battery, even if the other end wasn't connected to anything!!! Of course I ran out of juice and the plane impacted the ground at about 130 mph. ( My voltmeter couldn't test 5 cell packs.... got a new one after that )


I remember Cetral Hobby was selling a RX switch with a built-in regulator. I think this is a good idea.
