FW-1 former with bracket install.
I cut and sanded the ply sheeting so it was flush with the front of the fire wall.
I drew in the 2"X4" outline for the access panel plus the new 2"X2" panel for the FW-1 former. I used a diamond impregnated cut off disk for the 2X4 hole. I used a brand new xacto blade to cut the 2X2 hole since the piece will be glued back in place after the FW-1 is installed.
I CA'ed some corner supports for the 2X2 piece, transferred the bracket location onto the piece and cut the hole out and dry fitted the parts.
Epoxy was then applied with an acid brush to the FW-1 former, the 2X2 piece then was CA'ed in place.
The bottom of the side sheeting was also cut with a gentle curve using an xacto blade.
