I've made quite a few changes to the original airframe to accommodate the electric conversion.
The wing is sheeted top and bottom as well as the canard.
The fuse is made with 3/32 balsa instead of 1/16 and there are three 3/32 plywood hatches on the upper surface in order to access the motor, ESC, battery and rudder servo.
I'm using a NTM Propdrive 28/36 1000kv 400w motor, a red brick 70A ESC and a four cell 1600mah lipo spinning a 11x6 folding prop.
Should be more than enough power to get it up and out of sight.
I still have lots of sanding and shaping to do to the nose of the airplane but the hard stuff is done with the exception of covering it.
I will use Ultracoat but haven't picked a color yet.
Comments and advice sincerely appreciated.
