Honkers fly pretty well in the single wing- Dad and I flew a couple and I actually have the last one he built in the garage with a cannon brick in it
while they are not 3d capable they were fun, The bipe- I have never seen fly other than a youtube video... . As far as your statement about any plane involving foam not flying but mediocre... I used to build one of a kinds using the ace foam wings and had a blast with them powered by the .049 pissin off all the old foagies runnin low-fast and maneuvering 5-10 feet off the ground
