The two towers are moved to their closest position to one side of the base and the tower on the end has the slider in the lowest position. The other tower has the slider at the highest position so the long cone rod rest level on the top of the wheels on the outside tower but it rides on the underside of the wheels inside that access hole of the tower in the middle.

The long portion of the extra long cone rod now can mount a larger prop in the normal way between the cones extending over a table and it can rotate 360.
