was not a bad weekend but again had technical issues with the plane which kept me grounded Sunday. Got one flight in early Sat morning then a very gusty and turbulant wind came up and I was not willing to risk the plane.
Bloody inner gear doors, the horn kept break off. Will pull the doors off, rebuild and reinforce them with a large diameter plate for the horn buried within.
anyway the one flight was good. the engine ran sweetly on the new 7% nitro mix and it was damn fast! Landing was quite nice. Caught up with Mick aka boltman and his loverly wife Helen and a few others so a good weekend all round.
