In the continuing saga of celebrating Britain's finest hour in the Battle of Britain my MK IX Spitfires are performing well. The high tech receiver equipped Spit finally ended up on its back due to thick grass so I finally ended up replacing the stock wheels with some dandy Messerschmitt ones like what is already on my older Spit. My older Spit (affectionately referred to as my "War Weary" Spitfire) is operating very well at present with a thirty (30) Amp ESC while carefully throttling an APC 12X8 E prop. Interestingly, under hot weather conditions the three bladed prop, 40 Amp ESC equipped Spitfire performed seemingly just as well as well as the more efficient two bladed prop equipped ship.
Battle of Britain fighter pilot courage is inspirational for us today as we stand against tyranny in our time.
