Thanks Loco. Already on it; I plan to use the Testors inkjet paper for water transfers to print the black oleo plates on, apply some clear on top to seal them, then transfer them on aluminum tape (duct tape) which will then be cut to the proper outer shape and stuck on the oleos themselves. Result should be a realistic "black anodised" aluminum data plate as per original.
