RE: xp8103 promo? Can it upgrade to PCM later?
Yes the 8103 TX's are the same the difference in the FM (PPM) versions and PCM versions is the RX used.....The TX has the capability for both PCM and PPM is just a matter of changing the setting in the TX programming
The Promo unit is the R700 RX so you have a 7channel RX but the TX is actually capable of 8 ch......
Choices on RX's could be the new 7ch 770-PCM (very good RX), 945 or 955 10ch PCM's(top of the line RX's awesome performance) or even the 649 9channel PCM ( again great performance and has been around for a long time, its a proven and trusted RX)...
