I agree...mastering 1/2A requires patience and skill. Let's be honest, most small planes are harder to fly than larger models, then add getting that 1/2A or smaller engine to run right. And don't forget those dead stick landings! Talk about learning energy management techniques without the option to go around. My first 10 years in model aviation consisted of mastering energy management of 1/2A control line, RC aircraft and hi-start launched sailplanes or bad things will likely occur! Ahhhh....the good ole days!
