I am at work and eating lunch and came across this thread and joined. I am also building the big bird and have kit bashed it as much as possible. I will the DLE55RA with the exhaust going out thru the fuse at the wastegate exit. All internal rotary drive for the flying surfaces, working turbo cooler doors, functional scale landing light, inner and outer doors with upper gear door slaved to the strut, added on the tail wheel doors and a full 3d cockpit with a scale warbirds pilot with the turning head option. it is being flite metal covered now and has the black/white checkerboard cowl with operating cowl flaps. I have pictures and video but at this point have no clue on how to post them. I will follow your builds and check in around noon thru the week. maybe get to know some new guys and share interests.
