The folks has a 67 Charger 383 4bbl when I was a kid. SWEET ride. Spalding Dodge did some work on it. Had a dual point dist, headers, cam. I think the old thermoquads got loose around the shafts the butterflys are mounted to at the base plate. Just like a lot of quadra jets. Once they suck air there they never idle worth a damn. If my Dad was living he could set one up. People used to bring them by the house all the time in the 70's. It's a skill I wish I would have gotten from him. I can rebuild a holley or a quadrajunk lol
