Good eye. It's a Saito125 with APC 16x6. Very light and powerfull combo. It does give "unlimited" vertical, but not "ballistical" .
Mounted at 45° down, the lines of the cowl are much nicer than a side mounted engine with a lot of fiberglass hacking.
I posted a lot of images with the build process "a few" pages ago. I didn't reinforce almost anything!

A gas engine will surely require servos in the tail and rx battery "somewhere" behind. That translates into more weight...
My plane "feels" light in flight... ...."your mileage may vary".

The covering scheme was inspired by the Eflite Ultimate (top and fuse sides), and a german 50cc EMHW Ultimate (fuse sides and bottom).
Bottom is red with white curved sunbursts.
