Re the "rumors of a giant scale Rascal kit", for me the 110" Rascal I currently own is "giant scale"! It's the largest plane in my fleet and due to the costs and logistics of transporting anything larger, it is likely to remain as the big kid in the hanger. It and my 1/4 scale J-3 cub are my "big" planes. For me planes in the 75"-80" wingspan area are the most practical. Outfitting costs (engines, servos, radios etc.) are within reason, transporting logistics are doable, and they are large enough to fly well and be easily seen in the air. For some others those are not restrictions that matter and more power to them. To me the chase for ever larger and larger model airplanes at some point gets silly, why not just get a full scale and get to ride in it?
