Guys, I have been away for some time and have been flying gassers all season. Now its the monsoon, and we need to fly the smaller cheaper glow airplanes. However, methanol has disappeared from the market, so we cant fly even though we have the lube. So I need to know the low down on these engines the GGT10 and 15.
We get fuel gas mixed with ethanol here, nothing can be done about that. The OS engine cost twice that as the equivalent glow. Nothing can be done about that either. We are hand launching and landing i dunking into tall grass at the end of a water logged field, so electric are out of the question. Are these GGT engines reliable enough?
