Sam, Sorry to hear about the crash. On the other hand if you decide to build a second Typhoon you will have a chance to make any minor changes to the airframe that "bugged" you the first time around. I agree used airframes/planes can be a good value. In my area there are RC auctions during the winter months. Some GREAT buys on airplanes can be found. I don't recall any pattern planes at the moment though
