Now that I have some flights under my belt on my Ultimate a problem has been noted with the landing gear bending a little after a few landing even though they are good landing. So I started doing some research on the different forums and the internet. The one that I settled on was from B&B Specialties (
BB Landing Gear Reinforcement Standoffs - 3/16''). I had to go to my LHS to purchase the 3/16" music wire. The wire was bent down to a 40 degree angle on each end. The two ends are 5-1/4" in length and the center portion is 6" as measured from the center of the bends. I will provide feedback on how this setup performs after it has some landings, also if there are any effects on flight characteristics.
