Yeah, my Flite Streak has the single gear that is recommended by Top Flite. All you need to make it is some 1/8" piano wire, a 2.5" wheel and a couple of landing gear straps. It has worked fine as long as the person who helps with the takeoff holds it with a little bit of an angle to the outside of the circle. Landings are easy too, just land like you would with a regular gear. Geez, when I think about it, I don't know why I don't try this on something like a Twister. Hard to do a stooge launch with one wheel gear.
