All this talk about old Pilot kits made me investigate my collection of plans etc. Among the plans I found a good set for the Sky Loop 404 and among the surplus wings etc. I found the wing for a Forster T-1. The wing is very use-able if anyone had the rest of it. As for the plans I will let them go for the cost of postage. I kit bashed my old Sky Loop into a kinda Ryan PT 17 and powered it with an old OS 40 FS. Pretty gutless but probably quite realistic.
My favorite kit was the Tiger Moth 40 size. It was probably my first real scale airplane and when I look at pictures of it today I still think it looks pretty good.
