The smaller F model only jumps off the ground if you don't have the correct flap deflection.
I flew the smaller C model with ordnance and without and speed was similar. Climb rate was sightly reduced, so I compensating with more speed into the vertical.
I've seen Tam's Super Hornet fly many times clean and loaded up and as a spectator the performance looked the same.
